Exciting victories for JPCC, Zinda Tilismat

JPCC snatched a thrilling two-run win against a fighting Natco International, Zinda Tilismat of Hyderabad-XI stunned a strong Kanoo by just 8 runs and ACE Travels dominated with a five-wicket win over Kanoo Travel in the sixth week matches of the JCA Premier Division for Kanoo Cup.
Batting first, JPCC managed a meager 149-6 in the allotted 18 overs against Natco. Asif 43 and Shareef 68 were instrumental for JPCC total. Jamshed claimed 2-22, Attaur Rehman 1-19 and skipper Humayoon Farooq 1-35. In reply Jamshed 33, and Humayoon 23 started well but wickets were falling at regular intervals and Natco was stranded at 147-9. Attaur Rehman 15 and Asim Yaseen 11 tried their best but the JPCC bowlers and fielders were on top to grab the opportunity. Saleem grabbed 3-26, Jawad 2-21 and Rafi 1-3.
In another match, Zinda Tilismat of Hyderabad scored 177-9 against Kanoo. Hard-hitting Jawed Ahmed struck 73 runs in 26 balls. There were 23 extras and Noor made 15. Moid claimed 2-41, Kamran 1-20, Najamuddin 1-20 and Mansoor 1-51. Kanoo stared well through Rashid Khursheed 32 and Tabriz 36. Captain Majid hit 55 and Moid contributed 17 but the teaam was bundled out for 169-9. Noor was the pick of the bowlers with 3-18, Jawed Ahmed had 3-32, Irfan 2-19 and Shadab 1-34.
In the third match, Kanoo Travel, batting first, scored 193-6 against ACE Travels. Kanoo's middle order batsmen Adnan 26, Parvez Khan 23 and Haroon Abdullah 20 built the innings which was later capitalized by Amer 44 and Akbar 48 not out. Spinner Faheem Pasha took 3-32, Naveed 1-51 and Wajid Samdani 1-40. In reply, ACE Travels opener Talha Qulani was clean bowled by Amer for a duck. But Wajid Samdani hit 76, Ather 40, Awad 25 n.o., Sadath 17 n.o., Naveed 15 and Ayaz 10 to reach 194-5 in 16 overs. Amer, Zahid Khan, Majid Bhatti and Akbar took one wicket each.
