The Eastern Province has the country's most labor complaints with 175 cases, said a report by the National Society for Human Rights (NSHR). In second place was Riyadh with 158, then Makkah with 108, Jizan 44, Madina 23, Asir seven, Tabuk and Jouf seven, Qasim and Hail four, and Northern Frontier with one. This is out of a total of 509 cases, of which 505 cases were filed by males and four by females, said a report by the National Society for Human Rights (NSHR). The report, which covers the year 2010, said Egyptian workers topped the list of litigants compared to other nationalities with 222 cases, Saudis were second with 98 cases and Indians ranked third with 62 cases, reported Al-Youm newspaper. The report said the society had two complaints filed by Americans and two by Britons. The highest number of complaints, 311, was filed by expatriate workers claiming financial rights, 68 over transfers of sponsorship, 55 over travel bans, 33 appeals and 30 for unjustified termination of service, in addition to one case for demotion of rank.
