The National Society for Human Rights (NSHR) has filed complaints with the Ministry of Justice against 40 judges in a number of courts in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Jizan, the Eastern Province and Al-Jouf, according to judicial lawsuits filed by the complainants. In its annual report, the society listed 25 complaints against a number of judges, which amounts to 12 percent of the lawsuits filed by wronged parties. This is in addition to complaints filed against 15 judges accused of maltreating the complainants.
