Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Majid, Emir of Madina Region, has called for a quick completion of formalities to begin the construction of houses for Saudi citizens, as directed by King Abdullah. Prince Abdul Aziz said during a meeting with Dr. Shuwaish Al-Dhuwaihi, Minister of Housing that he would personally monitor the project in Madina Region and follow up on its latest developments to guarantee its execution is on schedule. All joint mechanisms between the Governorate and the Ministry of Housing to execute the housing program in Madina Region and its governorates have been approved. The Minister of Housing said land allocated for housing projects in all the governorates and centers would be handed over so required studies and designs could be executed. The projects would then be handed over to the companies that win the bid to build top-quality residential complexes for citizens. The housing project is part of the vision of the nation's leadership to achieve social and economic prosperity for all citizens. Royal orders have been issued to construct 500,000 housing units in all regions of the Kingdom; SR250 billion have been allocated for this purpose. __
