Itqan Bees and Ordonez claim FBGR awards

Itqan Bees team keglers mentored by Ian Choco colored the lanes red to claim the Team of the Week award, while Boiling Point's Noel Ordonez claimed the Bowler of the Week honor on the 25th week of the FBGR-Almarai Saturday Bowling League, 10th Conference.
The league is sponsored by Almarai Company and organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR) and being held at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).
The heroics of titlist Arnold Jesena and the flamboyant Lulu Quejada together with Ric Singson, Prince Mohamed Sultan and Ian Choco demolished the FBGR Selection, 21-14. Jesena hammered a towering four-game series scratch of 913 to lead the Itqan Bees. Jesena carded 204, 219 in the first and second games and downed an identical 245 score in the remaining two games. Quejada (869 points) was followed by Singson (825), Prince Sultan (801) and Choco (764).
For the FBGR Selection quintet, at the forefront was Cheng Lambo with 857 points. Following him were Thong Asuncion (834), Zaldy Torres (832) and Joel Lambo (822).
In another pair of lanes, Boiling Point outplayed Almarai Company, 20–11 through the sterling performances of the week's Best Bowler awardee Noel Ordonez. Ordonez fired a four-game series of 887. Perfect 300 holder Victor Edan impressed to follow Ordonez by posting 835 points, while Erwin Nacario and Dennis Gabrield tallied separate series of 835 and 834, respectively. Arnold Quindara and Butch Mateo contributed 468 and 366 series in two games.
Promisig Paul Decena toppled 821 points to be on top in Almarai team. Alex Armada and Romy Cabrillas scored 796 and 792, while Fhel Ramos and Jun Daniel shared separate series of 784 and 541.
In other results: MV Mixers beat Fab & Cool 19-3; Nadec Strokers humbled Alinma 18-3; Eraserheads beat Itqan Eagles 17-10; Itqan Aces downed Royal Archers–Reloaded 17-11; Alsalam Strike Force humbled SABB Advance 16-10; and Meron Na! beat Bowling Buddies 12-5.
