As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Zain Saudi Arabia has launched a training program during the summer holidays to train a number of students from universities and other educational institutions. The process of enrollment has already started to train the students and prepare them to either employ in the company or encourage them to find jobs in the labor market, a company official told the Saudi Gazette. The company will train the enrolled candidates to get training in occupations that suit the job and offer them opportunity to apply for jobs in the private sector, he said. “The basic aim of the CSR program is to contribute to the Saudization program by improving the skills of young Saudi graduates,” the official said. Zain Saudi Arabia has signed agreements with a number of universities and educational institutions to implement training programs during summer vacation. The training program will also help students to understand the nature of employment available in the job market and assist them to choose the best suitable career by equipping them with right tools required in the job market, the official said. “Those enrolled at the training camp will also receive monthly allowance,” the official said. The training is designed in such a manner that once students complete the program it will help them to look for employment opportunities with confidence, he added. Through its CSR program, Zain has been instrumental in supporting Saudi cadres to receive good education and qualify for the job market requirements. “The company's staff has the willingness and capacity to train Saudi cadres and extend all possible support and develop their (students) capabilities,” he said. __
