Summer jobs for Saudi youth in telecom sector

Zain Saudi Arabia is offering summer jobs by initiating a number of training programs designed for Saudi youths in various categories of skills required for Saudi Arabia's telecommunication sector, according to a press statement.
“Zain Saudi Arabia has been offering career opportunities for Saudi youths to gainfully utilize their time during the summer vacation and prepare them for the job market,” said the company.
The company has already employed a group of Saudis to work in designated Zain's departments in various parts of the Kingdom, said the company without specifying the number of recruits during summer vacation.
The job opportunities Zain has offered is part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) since it was launched in the Kingdom in 2008, it said.
The Saudi youths would undergo training programs that include both hands-on technical jobs related to the field of telecommunication and routine official work in company's various departments.
The company has already assigned a group of staff members for the seasonal job training program that prepare the Saudis to learn work ethics and scientific prowess to achieve expertise in the field of assignments they (Saudis) are employed during the summer vacation.
Zain Saudi Arabia has made it company's policy to employ Saudi youth and offer them skills required in the private sector and become responsible citizens that contribute to the national economy.
Besides, the company has been organizing training courses and conducting lectures at Saudi universities by rotating the visits by trainers on a regular basis, said the statement. “The training courses are designed to develop various skills and occupations among Saudis who seek employment opportunities in the field telecommunication sector,” it said.
The trainees who receive training during the summer vacation would learn the skills and come out successfully from the training programs, the company said. __
