Attieh, Al-Mazroi, My Care White and ATS in Prince Faisal Cup semis

JEDDAH: Attieh Steel, ATS, My Care White, Al Mazroi Boys have entered the semis of the Prince Faisal Cup.
The tournament, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center, is being played at WPCA. The semi finals will be played here Friday.
In the last week of the pre semis, Attieh Steel downed Johnson Control, ATS beat Usman Gems Tigers, My Care White white washed Usman Gems Blues as Al-Mazroi Boys thrashed Fuchs Hamrani.
In the first match, Usman Gems Tigers batsmen fell to the ATS ploy except Farid Afridi who compiled a face saving 55 and as none other could get pass the double digit to be bowled out for 122 in 18 overs as Nadeem grabbed 2-16 and Vivan Kumar took 2-33.
ATS in reply achieved the winning target of 123.
In the second match on ground 6, Fuchs Hamrani opted to bat first scored 144 at the loss of 5 wickets in 18 overs. Mohammed Ali remained unbeaten 77 off 46 as none other batsmen could score. Veteran Khalil Dawood took 2-13 as Sufian had 2-32.
Al-Mazroi were home with almost 3 overs to spare as Faisal made 43, Kifayatullah 43 and Farouk compiled 35 to get the victory target of 147 for 4 to win by 6 wickets. It was a purely team effort. In the third match, Attieh Steel opted to bat first against Johsnon Control piled up 184 for 7 with Moazzam Shoukat made 64 (10 fours and two sixes) as Kashif made 36, Shahid Ch. retired for 28 and Imran stroked 28 to get to a competitive tally. Saeed scalped 3-30 for JCI.
Johnson Control chasing the target lost two quick wickets but Nasir held one end to make 51 in 33 balls as Qaiser Amin returned back for 22 to be stranded at 137 for 8 to be out of the tournament by 47 runs. Moazzam Shoukat grabbed 3-29, Arshad Butt 2-18 and Kashif 2-27.
The last pre semi was a match to be seen as Shahid just went on with his awesome stroke play to hit 14 sixes and 13 hits to the fence to blast 166 in mere 62 balls to get mammoth 234 for 7 in allotted 18 overs while Abdul Moeed made 25 and Shamsuddin 21. Sajid took 3-18 and Kashif had 2-40.
Usman Gems Blue responded positively with prolific Abdulrauf in good touch to plunder the ball all over the ground to make 71 off just 27 deliveries studded with 9 fours and 5 sixes but once he was back it was all over for the Blues as whites washed them for meager 108 to win by big 126 runs to enter in the last four. For My Care Shan grabbed 5 wickets for 33 runs as Sohail had 2
