JEDDAH: Attieh Steel and My Care White have entered the final of the Prince Faisal Morning Cup, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center. The final will be played here Friday at the WPCA Eskan Grounds. Attieh Steel defeated Al-Mazroi as ATS was humbled by My Care Whites in the semi finals last Friday. In the Summer Premier League Dopco stars defeated the mighty My Care Hala as Crown Steel had the last laugh against star studded IDB. Attieh Steel put into bat by Al-Mazroi regretted later as Steelmen scored 232 for 2 in 18 overs. Opener Moazzam Shoukat hit 13 magnificent sixes and 7 hits to the fence to plunder 126 in just 47 balls and he added a record 207 runs for the first wicket with Shahid Shoukat who scored 55 in 42 balls and Kashif made 35. Khalil Dawood and Sufyan had one wicket each. In reply Al-Mazroi were bundled out for 152 runs and lost the game by 80 runs. Faisal scored 28 and Sufiyan 21. Kashif took 3-26, Arshad 2-27, Tariq Butt 2-46 as man of the match Moazzam got 2-20 for Attieh Steel. In the other semi final, My Care White batting first had early setbacks but Abdul Moeed played sensibly to stroke 82 in 57 balls and Farook compiled 59 in 34 balls, Shams made 19 to get respectable total of 184 for 4. Vivian, Usman and Mudassir took one wicket each. In reply ATS succumbed to the aggression of My Care despite a clinical ton of 103 in 55 balls by Ayaz Jafri studded with 15 hits to the fence as none other could cross the double digit to be restricted to 164 for 5 thus losing by 19 runs as Adil, Furkan and Afroz took one wicket each. In Summer Premier My care Hala batting first against Dopco Stars racked up 202 for 5 as Khurram Karamat remained unbeaten on 112 off 67 balls with 6 fours and 7 sixes as Waqas made 28. For Dopco Khurram scalped 2-23 and Shoaib Ali 2-46. In reply Dopco team effort outclassed the opponents as Maqsood made 48, Usman 44 and Shahbaz 35 to reach 203 for 6. In the other Premier match IDBP batting first against Crown Steel made 164 for 9. Mohammed Riyaz Khan scored 64 in 41 balls and Yasir 26. Abu Huraira took 3-32, Hussain 2-24, Ijaz 2-24 and Zaheer 2-44. Crown Steel chasing was in trouble when it was reduced to 2 for 2 and then 12 for 3 but Abid Shaikh steadied the innings with a masterful 82 off 52 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes as Nadeem made 28 and Babar 27 to get to the winning target of 168 for 5 with 3 balls to spare. __
