Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, said the "A Nation without a Violator" campaign was a result of King Salman's desire to help illegal residents leave the country on their own without any penalties. Prince Mohammed called on the violators to seize this opportunity and cooperate in achieving the objectives of the campaign. He directed the concerned agencies to facilitate the exit procedures of those availing of the 90-day amnesty, beginning March 29. The amnesty, which was approved by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for any violator. The comprehensive national campaign includes all those who have violated the residency and employment rules, as well as those who have overstayed their Haj, Umrah or transit visas. They will not be classified as a "deportee" if they leave within the stipulated period. To take advantage of the campaign, the violating expatriate must leave the country before the deadline. Moreover, the violation should have been committed before the date the campaign was launched.
