Indian nationals who have overstayed their visa duration after Haj, Umrah or visit, are directed to report to the deportation centre (Tarheel) immediately along with their passports and air tickets for the exit visa. The passports should have the visa sticker pasted on them. In case the passport has been damaged, the applicant is required to get a computer print-out from the Jawazat (Passport/Immigration Department) confirming his visa status before approaching Tarheel authorities. All Indian nationals are directed to avail of this amnesty opportunity without fail. Anyone found staying after March 8, 2012, will have to face severe punitive measures by the authorities.
