The Heads and Under Secretaries of Postal services in member countries of the Cooperation Council for The Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) will hold tomorrow their 25th meeting in Abu Dhabi - the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The meeting will discuss topics including the joint purchase of supplies and equipment, (Postal) Mail Service, the subject of the Gulf Express and the GCC participation in regional and international exhibitions as well as other related issues. The meeting will also make recommendations for adoption before the next meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Post and Communications and Information Technology to be held in the month of June 2011 in the United Arab Emirates. On the sidelines of the meeting, the 17th Gulf Expo for Postal Stamps will also be organized by the UAE Post in coordination with the Emirates' Philatelic Society from April 04 to 09, 2011 in Abu Dhabi. It will display rare and valuable stamps and envelopes, postal materials, signifying the authenticity of their dates. The GCC is comprised of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
