Kuwait today expressed pleasure over the outcome of a reconciliatory meeting it has sponsored between Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), it was reported here today. In a statement, Kuwait's Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah Alsalem Al-Sabah said the fraternity gathering in Muscat of Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy President of the UAE, who is also Premier of the UAE and Governor of Dubai; Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Heir Apparent of Abu-Dhabi, who is also Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the UAE, was overwhelmed by the spirit of fraternity and common keenness for the interest of the two friendly countries of Oman and UAE and undertaking whatever purifies the relations between them. The Kuwaiti senior official described the Muscat-based talks as successful.
