Speaker of India's House of People Meira Kumar received here yesterday Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, the Speaker of India's House of People hailed the positions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for supporting global peace, security and stability. She also expressed thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing services to the Indian Pilgrims and Umrah visitors. The both sides discussed a number of issues of common interest in addition to ways of enhancing aspects of cooperation between Majlis Al-Shura and Indian Parliament. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
