Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammad Bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh received today at his residence in Oberoi Hotel New Delhi, the Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, E. Ahmed. The meeting focused on the review of the existing relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India and ways of developing cooperation in various fields. During the meeting, the Indian Minister hailed the services provided by the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to pilgrims. During the meeting, Ahmed stressed the desire of India to develop its relations with the Kingdom to broader horizons to serve the interests of both countries and their people, noting in this context, the historic visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Republic of India after taking the reins of government that contributed to the development of the relations between the two countries and broadened economic and trade cooperation between them. The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to India Saud Al-Sati and members of Al Al-Sheikh accompanying delegation. The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura arrived in New Delhi earlier today on an official visit to India accompanied by members of the Majlis Dr. Mansour Aba Al-Khail, Yusuf Al-Maimani and Dr. Saadoun Al-Saadoun.
