Five Killed in Shootout in Philippine Capital

Five people were killed in a shootout between police and suspected robbers in the Philippine capital, officials said Saturday.
The shootout occurred after seven suspects robbed a bus on Friday evening along a highway in the Manila suburb of Quezon. Two police officers responded to the bus driver's shouts for help, dpa quoted police report as saying.
The driver, one policeman and three suspects were killed in the shootout. The other policeman was wounded.
