Japanese stocks rebounded Tuesday morning after five straight days of losses as investors picked up cheap shares, DPA reported. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average gained 73.98 points, or 0.77 per cent, to trade at 9,620.24 at the end of the morning session at 11:30 am (0230 GMT). The broader Topix index added 6.65 points, or 0.82 per cent, at 820.34.
