Poland's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 4.3 per cent year-on-year in the last quarter of 2011, dpa cited the Central Statistical Office as saying on Thursday. The figure was slightly higher than analyst forecasts of 4.2 per cent. The growth was fueled by a weak zloty, which helped boost exports, analysts said. The European Commission and the Polish government forecast growth of 2.5 per cent in 2012. -- SPA
