Polish gross domestic product rose an estimated 3.8 per cent in 2010, said the Central Statistical Office Friday in a figure that was up from the previous year and showed the country's robust economy, according to dpa. The growth was fueled by strong retail sales and investments for the upcoming Euro 2012 football championship, which Poland is co-hosting with Ukraine, analysts said. The rise in GDP for 2010 was slightly up from analyst predictions of 3.7 per cent.
