The Saudi Government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, is keen to back up any global gathering conducive to the restoration of a stable world economy and realization of balanced and sustainable growth through concerted efforts, the Speaker of Al-Shoura Council Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shiekh said. In a press conference he held here today to highlight the hosting of Majlis Al-Shoura of the 3rd consultative meeting of the speakers of G20 member states parliaments, Al Al-Shiekh said the timing of the gathering to be held here on Saturday under the motto "Sustainable Economic Growth for a Secured World", draws especial significance under the extraordinary conditions that jeopardize the world at all political, economic and social arenas. He drew the attention to the role of Al-Shoura Council in pushing forward the drive of international cooperation through active dialogue, consultations and participation in joint functions of other fellow world parliaments, in general, and G20 member states parliaments, in particular. -- SPA
