The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has called for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday, February 20, corresponding to Rabi' I, 28 according to Umm Al-Qura calendar, as rain season has been delayed, a statement issued by the Royal Court said here today. The statement urged Muslims in the Kingdom to take part in the prayers, usually performed early morning during such drought in pursuant of Sunnah (Traditions) of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
