Spokesperson of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed concern about the developments in Maldives and called for calm and self restraint. The Spokesperson said that the OIC is following the developments in Maldives closely. He called for avoiding violence and stressed the need for a peaceful settlement of ongoing political dispute in accordance with the constitutional requirements.
