Jordanian King Abdullah II on Saturday held talks in Aqaba with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on efforts to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israel. The talks touched on the meetings held recently in Amman between Palestinian and Israeli negotiators as well as contacts Jordan made with international parties to relaunch peace talks that address all final status issues. King Abdullah II and President Abbas also exchanged views on the peace process developments in light of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's recent visit to the region, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
