Japanese shares rose for a second day Wednesday as export-oriented issues were buoyed by a weakening yen. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average added 98.36 points, or 1.12 per cent, to end at 8,883.69 while the broader Topix index was up 10 points, or 1.32 per cent, at 767.4, according to a report of DPA.
