AlHijjah 19, 1432, Nov 15, 2011, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Korea signed a bilateral agreement aimed at building cooperation between the two countries in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. The agreement also develops a legal framework that promotes scientific, technical and economic cooperation between the two countries and gives highest priority to nuclear safety and environmental protection. At a signing ceremony in the South Korean capital of Seoul today, President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) Dr. Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani signed for the Saudi side, while Minister of Foreign Affairs And Trade of Korea Kim Sung-Hwan signed for his country. --More
