AlHijjah 11, 1432, Nov 7, 2011, SPA - Retired army general Otto Perez Molina won Guatemala's presidential runoff Sunday by a 10-point margin over his rival, according to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal. With 95 per cent of the votes counted, Perez had 55.5 per cent to 44.6 per cent for centre-right populist Manuel Baldizon, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA". More than 7.3 million Guatemalans were eligible to vote in Sunday's runoff, but observers said turnout was low.
