AlHijjah 8, 1432, Nov 4, 2011, SPA -- Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, announced the arrival, safe and comfortable, of all pilgrims coming from outside through the Kingdom's inlets. Most of pilgrims will have to settle in Mina plain today to serve the Tarwiyah Day, the last stop of a journey to reach the peak of Hajj in Arafat plain tomorrow as per the tradition of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) when he performed Hajj. In a cable to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince congratulated the monarch on the success of the entry of all pilgrims through the Kingdom's air, land and sea inlets, noting that the number of pilgrims from 183 nationalities coming from outside this year tolled a new record of 1,828,195, out of whom 989,776 are males representing 54% and 838,419 females representing 46%. According to figures, this year's pilgrims number increased by 27,274 compared with last year, a surge of 1.5 %, he said. He concluded that 1,684,876 came by air, 128,380 by land and 14,969 by sea.
