AlHijjah 3, 1432, Oct 30, 2011, SPA -- The Ministry of Health has upgraded medical and non-medical equipment at hospitals of the holy sites with an amount of SR 50 million in an effort to develop intensive care devices, secure 12 cooling devices for the treatment of sunstroke and secure 10 devices for intensive care units to treat cases of high temperature and control heat-stress for this year's Hajj and years to come. The Advisor to the Minister of Health and general supervisor of the Departments of Medical Supply and Equipment, Dr. Salah Bin Fahad Almazrooa' said that Endoscopes and 40 device for Dialysis were secured for hospitals of the holy sites. An amount of SR15 million has been disbursed to bring medical and non-medical supplies. He added that drugs and medical supplies have been provided to serve the pilgrims.
