The Ministry of Health has awarded contracts worth SR 60 million to provide specialized medical equipment to Najran General Hospital. The Information Spokesman at Najran Health Department Saleh Ibn Ali Al Zebah said the equipment included X-Ray devices; a CT scan (X-Ray Computed Tomography) and a central sterilization equipment and other medical devices for intensive medical care and surgeries as well as the completion of medical and other equipment needed by the Hospital. He also disclosed that work is progressing at the replacement project of Najran's New General Hospital, which is located at Al-Shurfah with an in-patient capacity of 200 beds. The Hospital's construction, which is estimated to cost SR 95 million, is almost 96 per cent complete.
