AlQa'dah 19, 1432, Oct 17, 2011, SPA - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Premier and Chairman of the Council of Higher Education, has approved a number of decisions taken by the Council in its 66th session. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, said that the Council has approved the establishment of a number of faculties in various disciplines in universities, restructuring of faculties, the establishment of a number of institutes, centers and deanships in universities, and renewal for another three-year term in addition to the assignment of Vice Presidents in a number of universities . The Council also approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Islamic University in Madinah and the University of Technology of Malaysia, and a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and the University of Illinois, Carbondale, USA.
