King Approves HEC's Academic Resolutions

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has approved a number of resolutions adopted by the Higher Educational Council (HEC) at its 41st session.
Minister of Higher Eduction Dr Khalid Al-Anqari said the resolutions included the establishment of a faculty of sciences at Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University and establishment of a faculty of medicine in Joaf.
In a statement to SPA, Dr Al-Anqari said the establishment of these two faculties comes in line with the policy of the Higher Educational Council to make expansion in various specializations which meet the requirement of the labour market.
