Qa'dah 16, 1431/Oct 24 , 2010, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also President of Council of Higher Education, has approved a number of decisions taken by the Council in its 61st session. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Anqari said the Council has approved the organization of bonuses to students in some colleges, amendment of names of colleges, reformation of departments, establishment of institutes at universities as well as deanships, assignment of vice presidents at some universities, and memorandums of understanding between local and Arab universities. On this occasion, the Minister has expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for supporting educational institutions.
