AlQa'dah 15, 1432, Oct 13, 2011, SPA -- Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed in Vienna today with Deputy Consultant and Minster of European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria Dr. Michael Shbendlger and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain Trinidad Khemenes Garcia-Gererya an agreement to establish International King Abdullah Center for Dialogue in the presence of a number of representatives of international organizations, religious and cultural dialogue bodies, social dignitiearies and media representatives. According to the agreement, IKACD supports dialogue among followers of religions and cultures, enhances understanding, respect and cooperation among all peoples and promotes justice, peace and reconciliation, and confronts the use of religions as a cover to hide violence and aggression. The agreement voiced the statute of the center and its mechanism. A five-member commission representing the five major divine religions will be assigned to run the center. The agreement also stated ways of financing the center which will be patronized by the Ministry of European and International Affairs of Austria. The agreement was drafted in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
