AlQa'dah 15, 1432, Oct 13, 2011, SPA -- Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extended thanks to and appreciation of the Government of the Republic of Austria for hosting the International King Abdullah Center for Dialogue. He also thanked the Kingdom of Spain for its cooperation which helped this great idea to come into being. In a speech following the signing ceremony of the agreement to establish International King Abdullah Center for Dialogue in Vienna today, Prince Saud Al-Faisal conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the government and people of Austria and to all the attendees of the signing ceremony. Comprehending the fact that all divine religions share the same noble values, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has called on all world community to spread the values of dialogue among followers of different religions and cultures, Prince Saud Al-Faisal said. He gave an account on the King's achievements in this regard at the Islamic level, citing Makkah summit 2005, and Islamic Ulema dialogue in Makkah 2008. At the international arena, he cited Madrid international dialogue conference 2008, and UN High-level Meeting in New York 2008. He said today's event is a logical outcome of this restless effort to narrow the gap between different cultures, civilizations and religions. Prince Saud Al-Faisal ruled out the existence of an international peace without religious peace, adding that success depends on the focus on the common factors that unite us, particularly the faith in God, noble values and ethical principles which represent the essence of religions.
