A 6.2-magnitude undersea earthquake struck southwest of Krui area in Lampung Province at 3.12 a.m. (local time) on Tuesday, according to Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The quake was centered 140 km southwest of Krui or 325 km southwest of Jakarta at a depth of 10 km, the agency said. It said the quake did not have the potential to cause a tsunami. There was no immediate report of casualties or material damage caused by Tuesday`s quake, Antara News Agency quoted BMKG as saying.
