The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia handed over today 424 tons of palm dates to the World Food Program at the Saudi Chancery in Damascus. The amount delivered will be funneled through two of WFP projects in Syria including emergency response to the drought in northeastern Syria project with 300 tons and also for school nutrition with of 124 tons, said Abdullah Al Aifan, The Saudi Ambassador to Syria. Al Aifan expressed his happiness that The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift concurs with advent of the blessed Month of Ramadan.
