Syria receives 450 tons of dates as gift from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

World Food Program (WFP) in Syria received today, 450 tons of dates as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to the Syrian people.
The gift was delivered to Silvana Giuffrida, WFP deputy country director by Saudi Ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Aifan when receiving her at his office here today.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Ambassador Al-Aifan said that this comes within the framework of keenness and interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the distinguished fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syria on one hand and within the permanent cooperation between the Kingdom and international organizations and bodies, on the other hand.
