424 tons of dates delivered to Syria

Saudi Arabia delivered 424 tons of palm dates to the World Food Program at the Saudi Chancery in Damascus Tuesday.
The dates will be distributed to two WFP projects. The project dealing with an emergency response to a drought faced in northeastern Syria will receive 300 tons, while 124 tons will go for the project of school nutrition, according to Abdullah Al-Aifan, Saudi Ambassador to Syria, in a statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
