The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) attributed power disconnection in Riyadh Olaisha neighborhood and Tabuk industrial area to technical faults committed by local contractors and announced that its teams at the sites managed to repair the two defects at record times. In a statement, the company said Riyadh power rupture affected some 5000 subscribers but the task team restored the current in 40 minutes. In Tabuk, where nearly 3000 subscribers were affected, the current was restored within three hours, the statement added.
