The Riyadh-based Saudi Electricity Company today announced that electricity current has been restored to 65,000 subscribers in Jeddah after having been cut due to heavy rains and floods last night. In a statement, SEC said power has been severed from most of them in coordination with Civil Defense authority since the emergence of the water hazardous massive fall. However, after the restoration of current to most subscribers, only 5000 remain to be in dark, pending the completion of water drainage in their nearby streets and roads.
