An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale struck Indonesia's easternmost Papua region Sunday, but there were no immediate reports of casualties, the country's meteorology agency said. According to dpa, the quake struck at 9:16 local time (12:16 GMT), with its epicenter located 32 kilometers southeast of Waren district, at a depth of 12 kilometers. Tremors were also felt in the Wamena and Timika districts. No tsunami warning was issued.
