Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research received here today President of American University in Beirut (AUB) Dr Peter Dorman and the delegation accompanying him. During the meeting Sheikh Nahyan and Dorman discussed different scientific and research fields, regarding exchange and transfer of information technology between the government's higher education institutions and AUB. They exchanged views on setting up the medical research centre at AUB to provide training to doctors, nurses, medical students, and makes research on the spread of diseases, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM".
