Awwal 06, 1432, April 10, 2011, SPA -- Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad met here today Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nickolay Evtimov Mladenov and discussed with him regional developments, especially events taking place in Syria. During the meeting, President Al-Assad highlighted his country's past on the path of reforms, and noted its openness to benefit from the experiences of European countries. For his part, Mladenov stressed the importance of Syria's security and stability. He also expressed Bulgaria's support to the process of reforms being undertaken by the Syrian leadership and expressed his country's readiness to provide all possible assistance in this area.
