Awwal 02, 1432, April 06, 2011, SPA -- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad received here today Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. During the meeting, the talks focused on current events in Syria during which Davutoglu reaffirmed Turkey's support to the reform package initiated by the Syrian leadership. Davutoglu also stressed Turkey's readiness to provide all possible assistance through his country's expertise and capabilities to accelerate these reforms (in Syria), which would contribute to the prosperity of the Syrian people and enhance their security and stability. For his part, President al-Assad expressed his appreciation for Turkey's keenness on the security and stability of Syria and stressed Syria's openness to benefit from the experiences of other countries, especially Turkey, to enrich the draft laws formulated by the competent authorities in the area of ??reforms.
