Four Miners Killed in Tunnel Collapse in Southern Philippines

Akhir 29, 1432, April 03, 2011, SPA -- Four miners were killed when a tunnel they were working-in, collapsed during heavy rains in the southern Philippines, an army spokesman said Sunday.
Two miners were rescued alive from the accident on Saturday in Tampakan town in South Cotabato province, 1,020 kilometres south of Manila, Lieutenant Colonel Lyndon Paniza was quoted as saying by DPA.
