Akhir 08, 1432, March 13, 2011, SPA -- King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Project for the Developing of Public Education "Tatweer" has won Pan Arab Web Awards Academy's best education website prize for the year 2010. Tatweer's WWW.Net.edu.sa won the award for achieving the highest standards in Public Education, E-learning systems and technology. The award crowned Tatweer's efforts in implementing E-learning techniques and enhancing the use of such contemporary means in education development process, said Dr. Ali Seddiq Al Hakami, General Manager of Tatweer. He said the project works on connecting all technical elements of the educational process via the website which offers prospects for designing sites for schools, teachers and students to communicate and interact in a conducive and an effective technological environment. Dr. Walid bin Saleh Anumei, the General Supervisor of Tatweer website said that the website was designed to contribute to the building of knowledge-based society by working to enrich the learning environment and generate an interactive environment based on the role of technology as facilitator for the interaction process in conformity with the best educational practices.
