Akhir 04, 1432, March 09, 2011, SPA -- Pakistan and Tajikistan on Tuesday signed three agreements for enhanced bilateral cooperation in the areas of agriculture, health and sports and physical training. The agreements were signed here after Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon held wide-ranging talks to further strengthen ties and cooperation between the two brotherly nations in various fields including trade, economy, investment, energy, communication etc. Minister for Food and Agriculture Israrullah Zehri, Secretary Health Nargis Sethi and Secretary Sports Aziz Ahmad Bilour and their counterparts from Tajikistan signed the agreements on behalf of their respective countries. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan. Later, Prime Minister Gilani and President Rahmon also signed a Joint Declaration, according to a report of the Associated Press of Pakistan.
