Kingdom Asserts Support for International Resolution on Protecting Civil Aviation against Illegitimate Intervention

Awwal 16, 1432, Feb 19, 2011, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia emphasized its support for a resolution issued by the General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in its 37th session, which comprised policies relating to protecting international civil aviation against acts of illegitimate intervention.
Prince Turki Ibn Faisal Ibn Turki, Deputy President of Civil Aviation Authority for organizations affairs addressed the Regional Conference on Civil Aviation Security concluded yesterday in New Delhi, pointing out that the Kingdom constantly supports the mentioned measurements in the Declaration on Aviation Security and the outcomes of the four previously held conferences on security of aviation at Abu Dhabi, Mexico City, Tokyo and Abuja, respectively.
