Awwal 10, 1432, Feb 13, 2011, SPA-- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in the Regional Conference for the Security of Civil Aviation due to start in New Delhi, India on Monday under the auspices of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Prince Turki Ibn Faisal Ibn Turki, Vice President of Civil Aviation Authority for Organizations Affairs will head the Saudi delegation to the two-day Conference aims to prepare a roadmap for the activities of aviation security. In a statement, the Prince said that the Kingdom through its participation in this conference will contribute constructively and positively to the roadmap as the Kingdom has a leading position in the region. He pointed out that the Kingdom has been a strong supporter for cooperation in the field of aviation security at all levels, including continuing support for ICAO's role in protecting the security of civil aviation against criminal and subversive acts. Prince Turki Ibn Faisal Ibn Turki noted that the Kingdom has a firm and clear commitment to fight all forms of terrorism, including terrorist acts targeting civil aviation or using civil aircraft as weapons of mass destruction.
