Yemeni Prime Minister Ali Mujawar met here today the UNDP's Resident-Representative in Yemen Pratibha Mehta. During the meeting, Mujawar received a copy of the UN's regional plan for a five-year cooperation with Yemen. The UN's regional plan includes projects in the fields of education and health in addition to the provision of humanitarian aids for displaced people. Mujawar praised the existing cooperation between Yemen and the UN, commending the developmental projects included in the UN's plan. He also looked forward to a greater role of the UNDP in supporting the development process in Yemen so as to serve the common goals of Yemen and the UN, Saba reported.
